Endicott Named NEIBA DIII Team Of The Year, Gulls Receive Additional Honors To Cap Historic Season

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott baseball program has been named the 2022 New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA) Division III Team of the Year, highlighting several postseason honors doled out by the association to the Gulls over the last week.

Endicott's 2022 campaign featured many milestones including a program-record 40 wins (40-10 overall | 14-2 CCC), the highest national ranking ever achieved by the program at No. 16 overall, the Gulls' first-ever trip to the NCAA Super Regionals, and their eighth conference championship in program history.

In addition to receiving the Team of the Year Award, Bryan Haley was named the NEIBA Division III Coach of the Year, while student-athletes Nicolas Notarangelo (Taunton, Mass.) and Caleb Shpur (East Canaan, Conn.) were both selected to the NEIBA Region 2 First Team.

Coach Haley and assistant coaches Harry Oringer '15 and Steve Busby also joined shortstop Matthew McKinley (Hudson, N.H.) as representatives of the program in yesterday's 46th Annual Joe Walsh All-Star Game at Dunkin' Donuts Park in Hartford, Conn.

Dunkin' Donuts Park serves as the home to the Hartford Yard Goats, the Double-A Affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.

Prior to the start of the game, the Endicott baseball program and Coach Haley were honored by NEIBA for winning the previously mentioned major awards.
