BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott junior outfielder Caleb Shpur (East Canaan, Conn.) has received Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week honors, as announced by the league office earlier today.

Last week for the Gulls (3/28-4/2), Shpur had an impressive performance at the plate this week as the Gulls went 4-0.

Shpur got the week started with a 5-for-5 showing in a non-conference victory over Southern Maine with three runs and an RBI. He would then go 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored in a win over Suffolk.

Shpur closed out the week by going 4-for-8 in a doubleheader against Western New England, scoring four more runs, and driving in three as the Gulls picked up the CCC sweep.

For the week, Shpur scored nine runs and drove in six. He also stole a base.
