GORHAM, Maine – The Endicott baseball team defeated Southern Maine, 7-2, in non-conference action on Wednesday evening at Ed Flaherty Field.

LP (1-4): Clay Robbins (Auburn, Maine) – 5 2/3 IP, 8 H, 6 R, 6 ER, 3 BB, 4 K
Endicott launched two homers in the fourth inning to take a 4-2 advantage on the scoreboard and never looked back.
Jake Nardone (Wakefield, Mass.) put the Gulls ahead 3-2 with a three-run blast to center field, while Robbie Wladkowski (Norwood, Mass.) belted a solo shot to left field to cap the scoring in the frame.
Matthew McKinley (Hudson, N.H.) also added a two-run double to left in the sixth and Liam Crovo (Melrose, Mass.) plated the game's final run with a grounder to short in the eighth.
On the bump, Jenkins completed the longest outing of his collegiate career behind three 1-2-3 innings (4th, 7th, 9th).
He only allowed one runner to reach scoring position, in the sixth inning, while the four hits he yielded were all singles.
