NCAA SUPER REGIONALS: Endicott, Baldwin Wallace Clash This Weekend (5/27-5/28)

BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 16/19 nationally ranked Endicott baseball team (40-8) is set to host No. 18/21 Baldwin Wallace (35-11) in the best-of-three NCAA Super Regionals this weekend from May 27-28. Here's a preview of this weekend's matchup.


SCHEDULE

Friday, May 27 — 12 PM (live stats/video)
Saturday, May 28 — 11 AM (live stats/video)
Saturday, May 28 (if necessary) — 45 minutes following game two (live stats/video)


TICKETS/MERCHANDISE

Prices (Cash Only): $5.00 for general admission and $3.00 for students/senior citizens 

All tickets must be purchased at the gate. No complimentary tickets will be permitted other than the 35 competitors' passes and/or working press/media.

Official NCAA Division III Baseball Championship merchandise will be available for purchase on site (cash or credit).

Fans will be directed to park in either the parking lots next to the Post Center, the Williston Townhouses, the parking garage, or Lot 35 next to our Physical Plant Building.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • First-ever meeting between the two programs.
  • Endicott and Baldwin Wallace have both produced school record winning seasons entering the Super Regionals.
  • The Yellow Jackets' offense ranks inside the top-10 in the following NCAA Division III categories: batting average (9th, .342), doubles (5th, 122), doubles per game (9th, 2.65), hits (8th, 563), home runs (6th, 69), home runs per game (4th, 1.50), runs (7th, 465), scoring (8th, 10.1 runs per game), slugging percentage (4th, .562).
  • The Gulls' top-10 NCAA Division III ranks include: earned run average (4th, 3.28), fielding percentage (2nd, .981), hits allowed per nine innings (3rd, 7.52), home runs (5th, 71), home runs per game (6th, 1.48), walks plus hits per inning pitched (WHIP, 3rd, 1.17).
  • The winner of this weekend's Super Regional will punch their ticket to the College World Series. It would be the first-ever appearance for Endicott and the second for Baldwin Wallace (2014, 1-2 overall).
