Meier, Peterson Earn CHC Weekly Awards Honors

CHC WEEKLY AWARDS RELEASE 

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's ice hockey student-athletes Jade Meier (Fairbanks, Alaska) and Alyssa Peterson (Cranberry Township, Pa.) have earned Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) Player and Goaltender of the week respectively. 

Meier recorded four points in a 2-0 weekend for Endicott as she continues to lead Endicott's offensive charge. Meier scored a goal and dished out two assists in Friday's 5-1 win over Nichols, and notched an assist in Saturday's 5-0 win over the Bison. 

The senior forward now leads all CHC student-athletes in points (35) and assists (24). 

Meanwhile, Peterson shined on Saturday as she recorded her fifth shutout of the season stopping 24 shots en route to her 13th win of the season. Peterson currently leads the CHC with a .953 save percentage and 1.29 goals-against average.

WHAT'S NEXT 

Endicott (21-2-0, 14-0-0 CHC) will host the University of New England on Friday, February 21 at 7:15 PM.
