BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's ice hockey student-athletes Jade Meier (Fairbanks, Alaska) and Bailey Thieben (North Syracuse, N.Y.) were named Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) Player and Rookie of the Week respectively, the league office announced earlier today.
Meier recorded five points in a 2-0 weekend for Endicott. The senior scored a goal and dished out an assist in Friday's 4-1 win over Becker. She also factored into each Endicott goal (one goal, two assists) in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Hawks.
With her five points this weekend, Meier set a new program record for points in a single-season with 31.
Meanwhile, Thieben registered 20 saves in the shutout victory over Becker on Saturday. The freshman netminder also registered her first collegiate point with an assist on the Gulls' second goal.
Endicott (19-2, 12-0 CHC) will travel to Nichols on Friday, February 14 for a 6:40 PM start.
