Women’s Ice Hockey Turns Away Becker, 3-0

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's ice hockey team defeated Becker College, 3-0, on Saturday night in conference action at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

Jade Meier (Fairbanks, Alaska), Courtney Sullivan (North Yarmouth, Maine), and Emma McDowell (Alexandria, Va.) all found the back of the net in the win.

Meanwhile, Bailey Thieben (North Syracuse, N.Y.) made 20 saves to record her first win and shutout of her collegiate career.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The Gulls improved to 9-0-1 all-time against Becker.
  • Endicott is 3-0-0 at home this season.
  • The Blue and Green outshot Becker, 37-20. Endicott is 4-1-0 when outshooting its opponent this season.
  • Endicott has scored three or more goals in five games this year.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (5-1-0, 4-0-0 CHC) hosts Salve Regina on Friday, November 22 at 7 PM. Becker (2-4-0, 1-2-0 CHC) travels to the University of New England next Friday at 4 PM.
