"We really encourage all of our student-athletes to not only be engaged citizens in and out of our classroom, but also to really leverage the benefits of community service," said Assistant Vice President/Director of Athletics Dr. Brian Wylie. "Participating in community service not only makes a significant impact within the community you serve, but also develops the students' civic and social responsibilities. It's this altruistic leadership that morally and ethically defines who we are as people here at Endicott."

"Community service is a big part of the culture of our athletics department. We give back in numerous ways to our on-campus and off-campus communities, The commitment and dedication to being a Gull goes beyond the classroom and playing fields and our student-athletes appreciate being a part of such a supportive community. Our teams show their appreciation through service. Sometimes the projects, programs, events, charities call for labor and sweat or financial donations or just for support and participation. No matter the call, our Gulls are always eager to support and contribute their time to serve others because they care and want to help," said Endicott Athletics Community Service Coordinator and women's ice hockey head coach Andy McPhee

COMMUNITY SERVICE AT ENDICOTT

Endicott's Community Service Program offers a wealth of opportunities for students to volunteer their time and talents to help those in need. The mission of the Community Service office is to provide resources and raise awareness for both Endicott and the surrounding communities. This goal is backed by the belief that in helping others you are helping yourself.
