NORTHFIELD, Vt. — The Endicott women's ice hockey team fell 6-2 to No. 7 Norwich University on Tuesday night at Kritzberg Arena.
The Cadets scored half their goals in the first period Ann-Frederique Guay (St-Lambert-de-Lauzon, Quebec), (2x) and Blossom Truel (Stratford, Wis.) both scored to put Norwich up 3-0 after the first frame.
Meanwhile, after The Cadets went up 4-0, Courtney Sullivan (North Yarmouth, Maine) made it 4-1 on the power play. Truel then added Norwich's second goal of the period to make it 5-1.
The Gulls then found a second power play goal through Jillian Gibbs (Burlington, Vt.) who made it 5-2 early in the third period. The Cadets then found their sixth through Holstad-Berge, on the power play.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Both Jade Meier (Fairbanks, Alaska) and Michaela McNamara (Warwick, R.I.) had assists on each Endicott goal.
- The Gulls went 2-3 on the power play, while holding the Cadets to just 1-4 on the power play.
- Sullivan paced the Gulls in shots with 5.
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott (3-1-0) travels to Becker on Friday, November 15 for a conference matchup starting at 7:10. Norwich (2-1-0) hosts New England College on Friday, November 15 at 4 PM.
