Beverly, MA -- Endicott freshman Paula McGinn (Lynn, MA) earned Commonwealth Coast Rookie of the Week Honors, as announced by the Conference on Monday. This marks the first time McGinn earned this honor.
In a 5-0 week for the Gulls, McGinn batted .438 (7-for-16) with two stolen bases, three runs scored and a pair of runs batted in. In a big for the Gulls against regional rival Wheaton College, McGinn went 2-for-4 in the second game, helping the Gulls defeat WC, 4-1.
Endicott sophomore Robyn Savitske (Hellertown, PA) earned Commonwealth Coast Co-Pitcher of the Week Honors, as announced by the Conference on Monday. This is the fourth time Savitske has received a CCC weekly honor.
Savitske ran her streak of not allowing an earned run to 80.1 innings as she posted a 3-0 record. In 21.1 innings or work, she allowed just nine hits and struck out 25 batters. Opponents are only batting .132 against Savitske. On Monday, Savitske earned her 18th win of the season in an extra inning win against Curry College. She struck out 10 batters and allowed only two hits.

As a result of their first place finish in the regular season, the Gulls host the Conference Championship Tournament, which begins Thursday. The Gulls are 30-2-1 overall, 21-1 in the CCC.
