PLAYER OF THE WEEK

4/11/05 Robyn Savitske (So, Hellertown, PA) In an 8-0 week for the Gulls, Savitske went 5-0 on the mound with a 0.18 earned run average. She hurled four shutouts and took a perfect game into the seventh inning against New England College. In 34 innings of work, she had 38 strikeouts and allowed just 10 hits.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

4/25/05 Robyn Savitske (So, P, Hellertown, PA) Savitske ran her streak of not allowing an earned run to 80.1 innings as she posted a 3-0 record. In 21.1 innings of work, she allowed just nine hits (opponents' batting average of .132) and struck out 25 batters.

4/18/05 Robyn Savitske (So, P, Hellertown, PA) Savitske factored into all eight of Endicott's wins this past week, posting a 4-0 record and recording four saves. She did not allow an earned run in 32 innings, while striking out 52 batters over that stretch. In a doubleheader sweep of Wentworth, she struck out a career-high 15 batters in the first game and then earned the save with a pair of strikeouts in game two. She is now 14-0 with five saves and a 0.21 earned run average.

3/21/05 Robyn Savitske (So, P, Hellertown, PA) During the Gulls' first seven games, the Co-Pitcher of the Week was 4-0 with one save. She did not allow any runs in 27.1 innings of work, including three complete-game shutouts, and held opponents to a .143 batting average.

4/25/05 Paula McGinn (Fr, OF, Lynn, MA) In a 5-0 week for the Gulls, McGinn batted .438 (7-for-16) with two stolen bases, three runs scored, and a pair of runs batted in.
