Gorham, ME-- Endicott won the first of two against the University of Southern Maine, 5-2 and rallied back in the second, mustering a 4-4 tie, before the game was called due to darkness.
In the second inning of the first game, the Gulls scored three runs on RBI singles by senior Katie Doherty and sophomore Ashley Labella. Nicole Reather had a RBI on a fielder's choice, giving the Gulls the 3-1 lead.
In the fourth, Paula McGinn scored on an RBI single by senior Megan Young and freshman Rachel Pearson drove in the final run with a sacrifice fly in the seventh. With the win, the Gulls improved their overall record to 16-2.
Kelly Bregman pitched into the sixth inning to tally a win, and Robyn Savitske earned the save by getting the final out in the sixth and then retiring the side in the 7th. Ashley Labella and Doherty each had two hits for the Gulls.
