The Gulls continued to play tough defense, allowing the Gordon Scots little room to surmount a comeback. McGinn would bat in another run, as she singled in Doherty from third. The fifth and sixth run of the game were thanks in part to Young's double, as McGinn and Reather scored for EC. Elyse Colby singled in the 7th run of the game, and senior Katie Doherty ended the game with a single, allowing the 8th and final run for EC.
Robyn Savitske improved her overall pitching record to 9-0. She remained undefeated thanks in part to allowing only two hits and striking out five. She faced only 20 batters in six innings.
