BALTIMORE, Md. — The Endicott women's volleyball team travels down to Johns Hopkins University and is set to take on Smith in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The matchup will be on Thursday, November 21 at 11:30 AM. Here's a preview of what you need to know for Thursday's contest.
TICKETS
Ticket Prices: Tickets go on sale 60 minutes before the start of the first match each day and will not be sold in advance. Tickets are $10 for Adults, $8 for Senior Citizens and Students with ID, $5 for Children under 12, and Free for Children ages 2 and under.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- This is the 10th time Endicott has qualified for the NCAA Tournament and first time since 2022.
- Thursday's match will be the fifth meeting all-time between the two programs. The two teams last met in 2016 as the Gulls were victorious 3-0.
- Endicott received an automatic bid into the NCAA tournament after defeating Wentworth, 3-0, in the Conference of New England (CNE) Championship match.
- Smith also received an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament after defeating MIT, 3-2, in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship match on Sunday.
- The Gulls are led by Hadley Helenbrook (Atlanta, Ga.) who has 489 kills this season (5.04 per set) while hitting .247. Abby Hunt leads the way for Smith with 364 putaways this season (3.68 per set).
WHAT'S NEXT
The winner of Thursday's contest will advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament and will take on the winner of a match between Itchaca and Lasell on Friday, November 22 at 4:30 PM.
