BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's volleyball team defeated Maine Maritime, 3-1, by scores of 20-25, 25-22, 25-11, and 25-8 on Friday night inside MacDonald Gymnasium.
Hadley Helenbrook (Atlanta, Ga.) led the Gulls with a match-high 22 kills (.442) and eight digs.
Ava Grace Dresback (Pawcatuck, Conn.) contributed 10 kills, while Hannah Maguire (San Jose, Calif.) orchestrated the offense with 40 assists and added 15 digs, three service aces, and two kills.
Annie Draper (North Kingston, R.I.) and Stephanie Moreau (Methuen, Mass.) also chipped in with seven (.462) and six (.417) putaways, respectively.
With her nine digs in the matchup, Emma Ruel (Duxbury, Mass.) went over 1,000 digs in her career at Endicott as the senior also added five services aces, five assists, and a kill.
Tonight's match featured 16 tie scores (3-12-1-0).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- First ever matchup between the two programs.
- Tonight's match was the opening match of the 2024 MIT Invitational.
- Dresback's 10 kills were a career-high.
- Ruel was a perfect 12-12 in serve receive, while Dresback went 14-15 (.933).

Endicott (4-0) heads to Cambridge, Mass. to finish up the 2024 MIT Invitational against Colby at 11 AM and nationally-ranked No. 13 MIT at 3 PM. Maine Maritime (2-2) also competes at MIT as they take on the No. 13 Engineers at 11 AM and Colby at 3 PM.
