BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's volleyball team opens up its 2024 season at home against WPI this Friday, August 30 at 6 PM. Here's a preview of the Gulls' upcoming season.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Endicott enters the season as the top-ranked team in the Conference of New England (CNE), per the league's preseason poll
- The Gulls will look to capture their fourth conference title in five years.
- Reigning Libero of the Year and All-CCC First team Honoree, Emma Ruel (Duxbury, Mass.) anchors the defense for the Gulls.
- Hadley Helenbrook (Atlanta, Ga.) who received All-CCC Second Team honors and American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Region 2 Honorable Mention accolades last season, will lead the team offensively.
- Endicott faces eight teams that participated in the 2023 NCAA Tournament and three teams ranked in the 2024 AVCA Preseason Poll, with another five receiving votes.
