Women's Volleyball Sweeps Weekend Tri-Match

NEW PORT, R.I. — The Endicott women's volleyball team defeated Clark (3-0) and Salve Regina (3-0) on Saturday afternoon at Rodgers Recreation Center on the campus of Salve Regina. 

ENDICOTT 3, CLARK 0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-18)

Hadley Helenbrook (Atlanta, Ga.) led the way with 17 kills.

Ava Grace Dresback (Pawcatuck, Conn.) added a double-double with 10 kills and a team-high 11 digs in the victory, while Stephanie Moreau (Methuen, Mass.) and Angelina Fitzharris (Webster, N.Y.) both contributed four putaways. 

Hannah Maguire (San Jose, Calif.) was in the middle of the action all match with 22 assists, five kills, six digs, two service aces, and 2.5 total blocks (two block solos and one block assist). 

Emma Ruel (Duxbury, Mass.) also compiled double-digit digs throughout the match with 10 to go with nine assists and a service ace.


ENDICOTT 3, SALVE REGINA 0 (25-12, 25-20, 25-21)

Dresback paced the attack with 15 kills while Moreau added five putaways in the sweep. Annie Draper (North Kingston, R.I.), Helenbrook, and Kelsey Sanborn (Londonderry, N.H.) all had four kills as well.

Maguire ran the attack with 22 assists and two kills.

Dresback recorded her second double-double of the day with 11 digs as Amelia Beigel (Amherst, Mass.), Helenbrook, and Ruel all followed with seven. 


BEYOND THE BOX SCORES

  • Endicott is now 5-3 against Clark and 27-4 versus Salve Regina
  • Dresback led Endicott with 24 kills in the two matches.
  • Across the two matches, Ruel led the way with five service aces.

Endicott (11-5) travels to conference opponent Nichols on Wednesday, October 9 at 7 PM.
