BIDDEFORD, Maine — The Endicott women's volleyball team defeated the University of New England (UNE) in straight sets (25-16, 25-22, 25-19) on Wednesday evening in Conference of New England (CNE) action at the Harold Alfond Forum.
Hadley Helenbrook (Atlanta, Ga.) and Ava Grace Dresback (Pawcatuck, Conn.) combined for 29 kills (15-14) to lead the Gulls.
Dresback was particularly efficient, swinging to the tune of a .591 hitting percentage (14K-1E-22TA).
Hannah Maguire (San Jose, Calif.) facilitated the Gulls' offense, which hit .362 on the night, via a match-high 36 assists. Maguire also added a team-high nine digs, and a match-high five service aces to her stat line.
Tonight's match featured 18 ties (5-6-7) and 10 lead changes (4-1-5).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott is 32-3 in the all-time series against UNE.
- The Gulls have won 15 in a row in the series.
- Endicott evened up its road record to 2-2 on the season.

Endicott (7-5, 1-0 CNE) hosts Roger Williams on Saturday, September 28 at 2 PM, as part of Homecoming and Reunion Weekend.
