Women's Volleyball Drop Matches To Colby And No. 13 MIT

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The Endicott women's volleyball team dropped a pair of matches to Colby and No. 13 MIT by 3-1 and 3-0 scores on Saturday evening at the Rockwell Cage. 

COLBY 3, ENDICOTT 1 (15-25, 25-19, 17-25, 24-26)

Hadley Helenbrook (Atlanta, Ga.) led the team with 12 kills. 

Ava Grace Dresback (Pawcatuck, Conn.) added 11 kills in the loss, while Stephanie Moreau (Methuen, Mass.) contributed six putaways. 

Hannah Maguire (San Jose, Calif.) was in the middle of the action again with 30 assists, two service aces, eight digs, and three block assists. 

Emma Ruel (Duxbury, Mass.) compiled a team-high 19 digs from the back row.


No. 13 MIT 3, ENDICOTT 0 (23-25, 13-25, 12-25)

Helenbrook paced the attack with 11 kills and Moreau added seven.

Annie Draper (North Kingston, R.I.) and Drsesback also contributed six and three kills each, while Maguire registered 27 assists and two aces. 

The San Jose, Calif. native also led the lead with 10 digs.


BEYOND THE BOX SCORES

  • Helenbrook led Endicott with 23 kills in the two matches.
  • For her efforts on the day, Ruel was named to the MIT Invitational All-Tournament Team. 

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (4-2) travels to San Antonio, Texas, where they will take on Eastern University in the Trinity Fall Classic on Friday, September 13 at 12:30 PM.
