BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's volleyball student-athlete Emma Ruel (Duxbury, Mass.) has been named Conference of New England (CNE) Libero of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today.
Ruel led Endicott to a 2-0 week against Wheaton (Mass.) and Western New England by averaging 5.57 digs per set (39 in total). She also went 23-24 (.958) in serve receive.
Against Wheaton, led a strong backline by recording 14 digs and going 11-12 in serve receive. Added three assists in the sweep of the Lyons.
The Duxbury, Mass. native followed that up with a season-high 25 digs against Western New England to go with two assists, one service ace, and a kill. The senior was perfect in serve receive for the 12th time this season, going 12-12.
This is Ruel's first Libero of the Week honor this season and seventh of her career (9/12/2022, 10/11/22, 10/24/22, 11/7/22, 10/11/23, and 11/6/23).
