WENHAM, Mass. — The Endicott women's volleyball team defeated Gordon, 3-2, in comeback fashion by scores of 26-24, 24-26, 18-25, 28-26, and 15-7 on Wednesday night at the Bennett Center.
Hadley Helenbrook (Atlanta, Ga.) powered the offense with a match-high 22 kills (.289) alongside 15 digs.
Ava Grace Dresback (Pawcatuck, Conn.) added 11 putaways, nine digs, and five aces, while Stephanie Moreau (Methuen, Mass.) had nine kills to highlight the rest of the attack.
Hannah Maguire (San Jose, Calif.) dished out a match-high 45 assists as the Gulls hit .181 as a squad.
Emma Ruel (Duxbury, Mass.) provided stability from the back row with 13 digs and a perfect 20-for-20 showing on serve-receive.
Tonight's match featured 31 ties (3-11-8-8-1) and 12 lead changes (1-4-3-4-0).
In the fifth set, the Gulls raced out to an 8-2 lead and never looked back.
Helenbrook (.500) and Moreau (1.000) both had three kills to fuel the offense, which finished with seven kills (.500) and four service aces.
The Gulls also limited Gordon to one kill (.000 hitting percentage) in the final stanza.

- Endicott leads the all-time series, 24-16 (won three straight).
- The Gulls are 7-3 on the road this season.
