BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's basketball freshman guard Cora Nadeau (Newport, Vt.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Co-Player and Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.
The freshman tallied 49 points (17-30 FG | 56.7%), six assists, and six rebounds in a 2-0 conference week for the Gulls. She nailed eleven three-pointers in the two-game span, shooting at a 64.7% clip (11-17).
Her averages came out to 24.5 points, three assists, three rebounds, and 5.5 three-point makes per game over the course of the week.
In Wednesday's 81-63 win at Curry, she drilled a team season-high six trifectas in her 29-point performance (9-14 FG, 6-8 3PT). In addition to her high-volume scoring, she also supplied three rebounds, three assists, and a steal in her 31 minutes of play.
She followed up the shooting display with another five threes made in Saturday's 94-82 victory over Gordon. On the afternoon, she scored 21 points (8-16 FG, 5-9 3PT), secured three rebounds, dished out three assists, and swiped two steals in the contest.
This is Nadeau's second CCC Rookie of the Week award this season (1/16/24), and her first career CCC Player of the Week award.
