In the last regular season home games for seniors Laura Mangini, Adrienne Guzman and Kacy Beloin, the three seniors were honored with flowers and kind words before the game. The three seniors have been big reasons the Gulls have been such a success this season. Their hard work and tremendous team-first attitude will get them deep into the playoffs.
Game 1
Endicott was able to pull off two big victories versus Wentworth Institute of Technology today at Tupper Field. The first game was won 4-0 in favor of the Gulls. The pitching of Robyn Savitske was once again magnificent. Savitske pitched all seven innings, scattering only 5 hits and 1 walk. She struck out 6 on the way to her 10th win of the season. Her record now sits at 10-3.
The Gulls would begin the scoring in the 3rd inning, when Katie Doherty and Ashley Labella hit back to back singles. An error allowed Doherty to score and move Labella to third base. Jennilee Danielson then cleared the bases with an RBI double.
In the 4th, more of the same for the Gulls when Laura Schack would reach on an error by the Wentworth second baseman. She would move up on a fielder's choice and later score on another Doherty single. Doherty would later score on a hit by Danielson to better the score to 4-0.
Offensively, Doherty was 2-2 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI and Danielson finished 2-4 with 2 RBI.
