Game 1
In a rainy day at Tupper Field, Endicott pulled out a big victory over rival Salve Regina, 5-3. The Gulls were once again led on the mound by Robyn Savitske. She pitched 7 strong innings giving up 6 hits and 3 earned runs while striking out 7 and improved her record to 6-2.
Offensively, Jennilee Danielson (2-4, 1 RBI, 1 run scored), Ashley Labella (2-4, 1 run scored, 1 stolen base) and Megan Young (1-2, 2 runs scored, 2 BB's) all led the charge.
The scoring started in the third when Danielson singled and advanced to second on a Megan Huckins sacrifice bunt. Young then singled and Elyse Colby scored Danielson on a fielder's choice. Katie Doherty then poked a fly ball to leftfield that the leftfielder dropped causing Young to score. This left the Gulls up 2-1.
The 4th inning started off with an Ashley Labella single. Labella advanced on a Laura Schack sacrifice bunt. Danielson then followed it up with a RBI double. Huckins then walked and Young hit a ball to centerfield that caused multiple errors and allowed both runners to score.
This proved all they would need behind the strong defense of Young behind the plate and Schack in left field.
