Men’s Ice Hockey Upends Western New England, 5-1

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's ice hockey team defeated Western New England, 5-1, in conference action on Friday night at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

Noah Strawn (Wareham, Mass.), Svet Kuchynski (Minsk, Belarus), Mitch Shaheen (North Andover, Mass.), Eric Manoukian (Manalapan, N.J.), and Derek Contessa (Freehold, N.J.) all scored in the win. 

Meanwhile, Conor O'Brien (Pinellas Park, Fla.) made 20 saves to improve to 14-4-1 overall (48-16-3 career).

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The Gulls are 14-1-0 all-time against Western New England.
  • Endicott is 8-2-1 at home this season.
  • The Gulls have won three straight games.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (15-5-1, 12-4-1 CCC) travels to Wentworth tomorrow at 5 PM. Western New England (4-16-2, 2-15-1 CCC) hosts Salve Regina tomorrow at 7:30 PM.
