BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's ice hockey team will open up its 2021-2022 season on Friday, November 29 when the Gulls travel to Salem State for a 7 PM tilt. Here's a preview of Endicott's 2021-22 season.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Gulls are the reigning Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) champions and have advanced to the CCC Tournament semifinals or better in every season since the league was formed in 2016-17 (two championship titles; 2016-17 | 2019-20).
- Endicott received 63 points total and seven of the league's eight first-place votes in this year's CCC preseason coaches' poll.
- The Gulls return 26 student-athletes to the fold from last season who outscored conference opponents 17-4 during the 2020-2021 COVID-19 shortened season.
- Endicott has won 15 or more games in every season so far in program history (first season 2015-16 | does not count 2020-21).
- The first win of the 2021-22 season for the Gulls will be their 100th overall victory in program history.
