Colby Blanks No. 9 Endicott, 2-0

WATERVILLE, Maine — The No. 9 nationally ranked Endicott men's ice hockey team fell to Colby College, 2-0, on Tuesday night at Jack Kelley Rink.

Tied 0-0 late in the first period, Drew Burke (North Andover, Mass.) tipped home a shot in the high slot that came from the point to give Colby a 1-0 lead at the 14:22 mark.

Both teams produced plenty of scoring opportunities from there but Burke's tally held true until the waning moments when Carter Breitenfeldt (Edina, Minn.) iced the game via an empty netter with seven seconds to play.

In goal, Andy Beran (St. Paul, Minn.) stopped 28 shots in the win (4-2-0), while Conor O'Brien (Pinellas Park, Fla.) made 27 saves in the loss (7-3-1).
