CANTON, Mass. — The No. 8 Endicott men's ice hockey team lost to No. 13 Curry, 2-1, in conference action on Friday night at the Canton Ice House.
Derek Contessa (Freehold, N.J.) scored the lone goal for the Gulls at 3:26 of the first period to even the score (1-1) on a turnover in front of the slot.
From there, Curry found the eventual game-winner in the second period (12:31) and held on for the victory, and push its winning streak to four straight games.
Meanwhile, in goal, Conor O'Brien (Pinellas Park, Fla.) stopped 27 shots in the loss (5-2-1).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott leads the all-time series 10-4-0.
- The Gulls had their three-game winning streak against Curry snapped tonight.
- The Colonels are undefeated at home this season (6-0-0).
