BIDDEFORD, Maine – The No. 8 nationally ranked Endicott men's ice hockey team defeated No. 10 University of New England (UNE), 3-1), in conference action on Saturday night at the Harold Alfond Forum.
Endicott raced out to 2-0 advantage behind goals from Noah Strawn (Wareham, Mass.) and Andrew Kurapov (Corvallis, Ore.) in the first (14:49, PP) and second (10:27, SH) periods, respectively, before Cam Speck (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) sealed the win with an empty netter at the 19:19 mark of the third.
In net, Conor O'Brien (Pinellas Park, Fla.) stopped 26 shots to improve to 3-1-1 overall on the season and 37-13-3 in his career.
O'Brien is now tied with Kevin Aldridge '18 (Birmingham, Mich.) for the most wins in program history.
