No. 8 Endicott, No. 10 UNE Skate To 2-2 Tie

BEVERLY, Mass. – The No. 8 nationally ranked Endicott men's ice hockey team played to a 2-2 overtime tie against No. 10 University of New England (UNE) on Friday night in conference action at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

Trailing 1-0 midway through the second period, Endicott took a swift lead in the contest with back-to-back goals from Andrew Kurapov (Corvallis, Ore.) and Eric Manoukian (Manalapan, N.J.) at the 13:29 and 15:24 marks, respectively.

Endicott's advantage was short-lived, however, as the Nor'easters found the equalizer with 41-seconds to play in the period.

From there, both teams put up zeroes in the third and overtime periods before Jake Fuss (Fairfield, Conn.) snuck in his shootout attempt to give UNE the extra point in the league standings.

In goal, Conor O'Brien (Pinellas Park, Fla.) stopped 35 shots in the tie (2-1-1).
