BEVERLY, Mass. - In a back-and-forth affair that pitted two of the top teams in the region against each other early in the season, the Endicott women's volleyball team took down Bowdoin 3-1 in the friendly confines of the MacDonald Gymnasium on Friday night. The win sees Endicott improve to 3-0 on the young season, while Bowdoin falls to 1-1. Set scores for the match were 25-22, 23-25, 25-23, 25-15.

Graduate student Amanda Gilbert (West Falmouth, Mass.) led all student-athletes with 14 kills (14-5-36) to go with seven digs and three aces. Defensively, libero Emma Ruel (Duxbury, Mass.) shined, leading the way with a match-high 20 digs, which is one off her career high of 21, which was set in the team's five set win over Brandeis in 2021. The 20 digs are a career-best effort in a four set match for the sophomore.

Setters Ella Koelb (Auburn, N.H.) and Lauren McGrath (Franklin, Mass.) each produced a double-double performance as the duo orchestrated an efficient offense throughout. Koelb finished with her first career double-double, posting 20 assists and 10 digs while McGrath notched 19 assists and 10 digs of her own.

Krystina Schueler (Trumbull, Conn.) came on strong late, producing an 8-2-15 (.400) line over the last two sets to finish the night with a season-high 11 kills and just three errors on 24 attempts (.333).
