THE MATCHUP: The Gulls (13-4 overall) defeated the Hawks in the regular-season meeting, 14-8, on March 25th in Beverly, Mass. Saturday will be the sixth time the Gulls and Hawks have met head-to-head vying for the conference crown. Endicott owns a 4-1 record in those matchups and is looking for revenge from last season.

POSTSEASON HISTORY: The Gulls are making their 13th appearance in the conference title game after having qualified for the conference tournament each in the past 14 consecutive years, and 18 of the 22 years since Endicott became NCAA Division III varsity program in 1996. Endicott is in the hunt for its 10th CCC title and first under third-year head coach Morgan Maciewicz, who was named CCC Coach of the Year this season as the Gulls clinched the regular-season crown. The Gulls won nine straight conference championships from 2006-2014 and returned to the CCC Championship game last year after having its streak of 10-straight title game appearances halted in 2015. However, their quest for raising a banner came up short as they fell to Roger Williams, 16-7, for the Hawks' first-ever women's lacrosse title.

The Gulls won the conference's regular-season title by sweeping through the competition to go undefeated in CCC play for the fifth time in program history. Along the way, Endicott has outscored their foes, 243 to 121 (overall) and 150 to 44 against conference opponents through nine contests. The Gulls defeated No. 5 Gordon, 12-5, on May 3rd to return to the CCC Championship for a shot at redemption. Endicott is led by five All-CCC First Teamers, including CCC Defensive Player of the Year Bella Rino (Northborough, Mass.) in goal and CCC Rookie of the Year Jennifer Lacroix (Wrentham, Mass.), in addition to three All-CCC Second Team selections. The Gulls are coached by Maciewicz and her two new assistants this season, Caitlin Cataldo and Jennifer Fox.

NO. 2 ROGER WILLIAMS (13-3, 7-1 CCC) | STATISTICS | SCHEDULE

The Hawks earned the conference's second seed by going 7-1 in conference play, with their lone loss to Endicott earlier this season. Roger Williams blew by No. 3 University of New England, 18-3, in the CCC Semifinals on May 3rd. Riding an eight-game win streak, the Hawks move on to the title game for the fourth straight season and are looking to defend their title. Roger Williams placed eight student-athletes on the All-Conference teams this season, highlighted by junior midfielder Kaelin Hogan's (Bethel, Conn.) CCC Offensive Player of the Year honor. Hogan finished the regular season with 85 points to lead the conference, which was also good for a No. 13 ranking in all of NCAA Division III. She also has dished out a league-leading 36 assists (ranked 20th in the nation). The Hawks are coached by Lisa Vogeley in her fourth season at the helm and is assisted by Sydney Smith.
