Endicott Falls To No. 15 Bowdoin, 14-5

Sophomore goalie Bella Rino prepares to make a save.

BRUNSWICK, Maine — The Endicott women's lacrosse team was defeated, 14-5, by host No. 15 nationally-ranked Bowdoin College in non-conference action on a bone-chilling Wednesday night at Ryan Field.

The Polar Bears plunged out to a 10-0 lead battling frigid temperatures before freshman attack Meghan Dutchyshyn (Cheshire, Conn.) found the back of the net on a feed from senior attack Meghan Lennon (Canton, Mass.) to put the Gulls on the board with 4:09 to play in the opening half.

An 11-2 advantage at the break turned into a more-balanced second stanza as each team buried three markers, including a second-half hat trick from Lennon to lead the Gulls in scoring.
