SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Endicott's freshman attack Meghan Dutchyshyn (Cheshire, Conn.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week for the week of February 27 to March 5, 2017.
Dutchyshyn, a first-time honoree and the first CCC Rookie of the Week selection in 2017, led the Gulls to a 2-0 record in the opening week of the season with seven goals and two assists.
In the team's 12-7 win at Wellesley yesterday, Dutchyshyn scored a career-high four goals for one-third of the team's offensive attack on the day.
Dutchyshyn now has two career hat tricks in her first two collegiate games and will be back in action when Endicott takes the field against No. 20 Colby College on Tuesday, March 7 at 7:00 p.m. at Hempstead Stadium.
