BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott Director of Athletics Dr. Brian Wylie has announced the resignation of Morgan Maciewicz from the position of head women's lacrosse coach. A search for her successor will begin immediately.

"In only three years under Coach Maciewicz, the women's lacrosse program continued its winning ways capturing the CCC title this past year while contributing to the program's nine consecutive titles from 2006-14," said Wylie. "Not only did the program see success athletically under her guidance, but the team also established a new program record for CCC Academic All-Conference selections in 2017 as well. Her efforts in elevating the program and its student-athletes in both areas will be sorely missed."

In her three seasons at the helm of the program, Maciewicz compiled a 33-21 (.611) overall record and a 20-4 (.833) mark in conference play. Maciewicz also guided the Gulls to their 10th Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) championship and 10th NCAA Tournament appearance in program history last season behind a 14-5 overall record and perfect 8-0 conference ledger. For her efforts, Maciewicz was awarded 2017 CCC Coach of the Year honors.

In addition to those merits, Maciewicz coached the program to three CCC semifinals appearances, and two CCC finals appearances. The program also collected 20 All-CCC honors, including two CCC Defensive Player of the Year accolades and one CCC Rookie of the Year honor, eight All-Region selections, and 32 CCC Academic All-Conference laurels.
