CCC SEMIFINALS: No. 1 Endicott Hosts No. 7 Curry On Saturday (7 PM)

BEVERLY, Mass. – The top-seeded Endicott women's ice hockey team (17-4-1) is set to clash with seventh-seeded Curry College (4-21-1) in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Semifinals on Saturday, February 26 at the Raymond J. Bourque Arena (7 PM). Here's a preview of the playoff matchup. 

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW 

  • No. 8 nationally ranked Endicott is undefeated in the all-time series versus Curry (3-0-0).
  • The Gulls have not given up a goal to the Colonels during that span (3-0, 12/3/21 l 4-0, 12/4/21, l 7-0, 2/5/22). 
  • Endicott enters the postseason on a six-game winning streak. 
  • The Gulls are 8-1-1 at The Nest, while Curry is 2-10-1 away from home this year. In the opening round of the postseason, the Colonels went on the road and upset second-seeded Suffolk (19-6) by a 3-2 score. 
  • Courtney Sullivan (North Yarmouth, Maine) leads the Gulls in points with 22 total, while Grayson Goolgasian (Johnston, R.I.) headlines Curry with 15 total points.  

WHAT'S NEXT

The winner of Saturday's playoff bout will face the victor of No. 3 Nichols/No. 5 University of New England (UNE) in the CCC Championship game on Saturday, March 5 at the highest remaining seed (time TBD).
