No. 10 Women’s Ice Hockey Blanks Western New England, 6-0

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — The No. 10 nationally ranked Endicott women's ice hockey team shut out Western New England, 6-0, in conference action on Friday night at the Olympia Ice Center.

Courtney Sullivan (North Yarmouth, Maine) scored twice for the Gulls, while Jacy Kuhlman (Severna Park, Md.), Kat Keith (Westwood, Mass.), Kellie Popkin (Walpole, Mass.), and Sydney Fascetta (Dover, N.H.) all found the back of the net once in the victory.

In net, Bailey Thieben (North Syracuse, N.Y.) recorded her sixth shutout of the season (ninth career) behind seven saves (8-1-0 overall/14-1-0 career).

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The Gulls are 3-0-0 all-time against Western New England.
  • Endicott has won four games in a row.
  • The Blue and Green are 8-2-0 on the road this season.
