CANTON, Mass. — The No. 7 nationally ranked Endicott women's ice hockey team shut out Curry, 4-0, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action on Saturday evening at the Raymond J. Bourque Arena.
Courtney Sullivan (North Yarmouth, Maine) started the scoring for the Blue and Green at the 16:41 mark of the first period to help the Gulls soar out in front to an early 1-0 advantage on the road.
Following the first tally, Lindsay Goodman (Newmarket, N.H.) and Mackenzie Brown (Chester, N.J.) both potted their first collegiate goals at the 11:43 and 13:32 marks of the second period, respectively, extending Endicott's lead to 3-0.
Jacy Kuhlman (Severna Park, Md.) capped off the night with Endicott's fourth and final goal in the third period (10:51).
Meanwhile, in goal, Michaela O'Brien (Pembroke, Mass.) made 15 saves to help clinch back-to-back victories for the Gulls over the Colonels (6-1-0 this season/14-1-0 career).
BEYOND THE BOX
- The Gulls are 2-0-0 in the all-time series against Curry.
- Endicott has scored four or more goals six times over the course of its 11 games in 2021.
- Kuhlman and Quin Healy (Melrose, Mass.) are tied for second on the team with five goals scored.
- The Blue and Green outscored the Colonels 7-0 in their two meetings this season.
