No. 8 Women’s Ice Hockey Tops Salve Regina, 7-0

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. — The No. 8 Endicott women's ice hockey team defeated Salve Regina, 7-0, on Saturday night in conference action at St. George's Rink.

Courtney Sullivan (North Yarmouth, Maine) highlighted the Gulls with her first career hat trick.

Endicott also received tallies from Kat Keith (Westwood, Mass.), Tabitha Franceschini (Brick, N.J.), Jacy Kuhlman (Severna Park, Md.), and Makenzie Villiard (Fenton, Mich.) in the victory. 

Meanwhile, Michaela O'Brien (Pembroke, Mass.) stopped 16 shots to improve to 2-0-0 on the season (second career shutout).

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The Gulls are 12-0-2 all-time against Salve Regina.
  • Endicott has won seven in a row versus the Seahawks dating back to 11/22/2019.
  • Sullivan scored one goal in each period to record her hat trick (PP-14:20 | 10:20 | PP-7:01).

No. 8 Endicott (3-0-0, 2-0-0 CCC) will play the University of New England in a home-and-home series on Friday, November 12 (away, 7 PM) and Saturday, November 13 (home, 3 PM). 

Salve Regina (0-3-0, 0-2-0 CCC) takes on Nichols next Friday (away, 4:40 PM) and Saturday (home, 7 PM).
