Men’s Ice Hockey Doubles Up Wentworth, 4-2

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. — The Endicott men's ice hockey team defeated Wentworth, 4-2, in non-conference action on Saturday evening in the consolation game of the W.B. Mason Winter Classic at the Ronald B. Stafford Ice Arena, hosted by Plattsburgh State.

Elliott Clemmons (Rochester, N.Y.), James Winkler (York, Maine), Jason Kalinowski (Stamford, Conn.), and Zach Mazur (Lancaster, N.Y.) all scored in the victory.

Meanwhile, in goal, Conor O'Brien (Pinellas Park, Fla.) made 31 saves to improve to 8-4-0 on the season.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott improved to 9-2-0 against Wentworth in the all-time series.
  • The Gulls are 4-1-0 in their last five versus the Leopards.
  • Clemmons scored his first career collegiate goal.
  • Endicott is 1-1-0 in neutral site games this season.
  • Kalinowski registered his ninth career game-winning goal (all-time program leader).
  • For his efforts, Kalinowski was named to the W.B. Mason Winter Classic All-Tournament Team.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (8-5-0) travels to Tufts University on Friday, January 10 at 7 PM. Wentworth (4-8-1) hosts Fitchburg State University on Thursday, January 9 at 7 PM.
