Gulls Earn Program Record No. 2 National Ranking In ABCA Preseason Poll

ABCA PRESEASON POLL

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott baseball team has been ranked No. 2 overall in the 2025 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Preseason Poll.

Today's announcement marks the highest preseason national ranking in program history, surpassing this month's earlier highwater marker via the D3baseball.com Preseason Poll (No. 3).

Endicott also received six first place votes in the ABCA Preseason Poll, the most in program history for either preseason poll.

The Gulls enter 2025 after a historic 2024 performance, which featured the program's first-ever Division III College World Series victory (7-6 victory over No. 9/12 Pomona-Pitzer) a Super Regional sweep over No. 6/7 Johns Hopkins, a program record 47 wins, and 10+ weeks ranked as the No. 1/1 team in the D3baseball.com and ABCA national polls.

The Blue and Green concluded 2024 ranked first in Division III in fielding percentage (.979), ERA (2.99), WHIP (1.14), and wins/ winning percentage (47-4; .922).

The 2025 team aims to build off last season's program-record success and secure its fourth consecutive conference championship (2022-24).
