BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 2/3 nationally ranked Endicott baseball team has been picked as the top team in the Conference of New England's (CNE) Preseason Poll, the league office announced on Thursday.
Roger Williams came in at the second spot behind Endicott with 66 points and a first place vote, while Western New England completed the top three by earning 65 points for third place.
Nichols (50) took home fourth place, while Suffolk (45) took fifth and Hartford (38) came in sixth. Rounding out the poll was Wentworth (27), Gordon (19), and Curry (15).
This is the third straight season the Gulls have been picked as the top team in the CNE Preseason Poll
The Blue and Green opens up conference play at Nichols on Saturday, March 22 at 12/3 PM.
