BEVERLY, Mass. — Seven members of the 2024 Endicott baseball team were named to their 2024 summer league All-Star Games, as announced this past week.
Rising junior pitchers Brady Stuart (Hudson, Mass.) and Kyan Bagshaw (Amherst, N.H.) were each named to the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL) All-Star Game, which will be played on Tuesday, July 23 in Norwich, Conn.
Meanwhile, rising sophomore outfielders Brenden Walsh (Reading, Mass.) and Trevor Kamuda (Groveland, Mass.) accompanied rising senior pitcher Brandon McSorley (Melrose, Mass.) and rising senior outfielders Caleb Clark (Gloucester, Mass.) and Joey Frammartino (North Reading, Mass.) as 2024 North Shore Baseball League (NSBL) All-Stars. The NSBL All-Star game took place on Saturday, July 13.
Stuart currently ranks tops in the FCBL in ERA (minimum 25 IP) with an astronomical 0.29, having allowed just one earned run in his 30.2 innings of work. He pairs that with a baffling WHIP of 0.86. The Worcester Bravehearts ace has also whiffed 40 (11.92 K/9) while holding opposing hitters to a batting average of just .196 on the season. He has led his squad to a record of 22-20 through the first half of the season.
Bagshaw's 2024 FCBL All-Star campaign has seen him feature an ERA of 2.31 for the Nashua Silver Knights. The electric lefty reliever has struck out 15 in his 11.2 innings (12.05 K/9) while posting a WHIP of 1.43 for the FCBL's sixth-place club.
In the NSBL, Frammartino has slashed .558 AVG / .648 OBP / 1.047 SLG in 13 games for the Manchester Marlins this season, all of which rank top four in the league. The Gulls' right fielder has also crushed a league-leading six home runs and driven in 12 runs during his 2024 NSBL campaign.
Clark, also a member of the Manchester Marlins' outfield, has posted a slashline of .386 AVG / .449 OBP / .705 SLG in 13 games this summer. The Gloucester, Mass. native has belted two homers and driven in nine for the Marlins thus far.
McSorley joins his Marlins teammates with a 2024 NSBL All-Star appearance. The rising senior right-hander has been lights out for the Marlins this season. His summer was highlighted by a four inning appearance on June 1st in which he tossed four shutout innings and earned the win.
In 11 games for the Rowley Nor'Easters this season, Kamuda has slashed .364 AVG / .488 OBP / .485 SLG. The rising sophomore outfielder leads his squad in hits (12), home runs (one), and RBI (12).
As a member of the Swampscott Sox this summer, Walsh has slashed .297 AVG / .372 OBP / .541 SLG with one home run and seven RBI. The rising sophomore outfielder also ranks T-7th in the NSBL for doubles with four.
