BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott baseball team has been ranked No. 1 nationally by both the ABCA and D3baseball.com for the sixth straight week.
The Gulls currently hold a team ERA of 2.78, which ranks second in all of Division III and leads the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) by a significant margin.
The pitching staff is highlighted by Charlie Hale (Brookline, N.H.), Nicholas Cannata (Marlborough, Conn.), Jordan Gottesman (Acton, Mass.), and John Connolly (Attleboro, Mass.), who rank first, second, fifth, and sixth in ERA within the CCC, respectively.
Offensively, the Blue and Green rank 42nd in the nation in home runs (30) and 50th in runs per game (8.5).
Nicolas Notarangelo (Taunton, Mass.), Danny MacDougall (Taunton, Mass.), Joey Frammartino (North Reading, Mass.) and Brendan O'Neil (Ponte Vedra, Fla.) have been at the forefront of the offensive output for the Gulls this season, as they each rank in the top-20 for home runs, RBI, total bases, and at bats in the CCC.
