BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott senior Olivia Berler (Marstons Mills, Mass.) has received Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women's Tennis Player of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today.
Berler went 2-0 in both singles and doubles during Endicott's CCC Tournament Championship run, helping the Gulls claim their third-straight CCC Tournament title.
In the CCC Semifinals against No. 4 seed Salve Regina, Berler earned an 8-3 doubles win playing at the No. 3 spot. She then recorded the clinching point in singles sweeping the Seahawks' No. 5, 6-0, 6-0.
Berler repeated her doubles result in the CCC Championship match against No. 3 seed Nichols, defeating the Bison's No. 3 pair, 8-3. She then won the Gulls' fourth point, defeating Nichols' No. 5 in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3.
Last season, Berler also won Player of the Week honors during the CCC Championship Week.
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott (11-3) will represent the CCC in the NCAA Division III Tournament later this spring.
