CCC SEMIFINALS: Women’s Tennis Advances To CCC Title Match With 5-0 Triumph Over Salve Regina

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's tennis team defeated Salve Regina, 5-0, in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Semifinals on Thursday evening at the South Campus Tennis Courts.

In doubles, the top-seeded Gulls completed the sweep with victories from Ashley Keaveney (Exeter, N.H.) / Olivia Martinelli (Coral Springs, Fla.) at No. 2 (8-2), Shelby Henry (Lincoln, Neb.) / Olivia Berler (Marstons Mills, Mass.) at No. 3 (8-3) and Ripley Uyeda (Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.) / Lejla Guster (Wethersfield, Conn.) at No. 1 (8-6).

In singles, Endicott secured the shutout against the No. 4 ranked Seahawks via two dominant 6-0, 6-0 triumphs by Martinelli and Berler at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively, to advance to the CCC Championship.

  • The Blue and Green will look to capture their third straight CCC Championship on Saturday.
