BRONX, N.Y. — The Endicott women's tennis team fell to New York University (NYU), 9-0, in non-conference action on Saturday night at the Stadium Tennis Center.
In doubles play, the Gulls showed plenty of grit at the No. 1 spot as the pairing of Lejla Guster (Wethersfield, Conn.) / Ripley Uyeda (Ranchos Palos Verdes, Calif.) fell in a tightly contested matchup, 8-4.

"Credit to NYU — they are a regionally ranked team for a reason," said Endicott women's tennis head coach Anthony D'Angelo. "They were a little more comfortable staying tight at the baseline than we were, but we stayed tight with them and just need to see it more."
