QUINCY, MA - The Endicott College women's soccer team posted their sixth Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) win this afternoon with a 9-0 victory over Eastern Nazarene College.
Junior forward Paula McGinn (Lynn, MA/Lynn Classical), scored three first half goals to lead the Gulls. EC Junior midfielder Kelly Dillon (Franklin, MA/Franklin HS) added the fourth to help the Gulls to a 4-0 halftime lead.
Endicott came out firing again in the second half as five different players found the back of the net. Senior forward Caitlin D'Amario (East Longmeadow, MA/East Longmeadow HS) blasted a shot over the outstretched arms of goalkeeper Melaina Genovese to open the scoring. McGinn would follow with her fourth goal of the game on a breakaway which she place in the corner of the goal. Sophomore Cali Collin (Plattsburgh, NY/Plattsburgh HS), Junior Ashley Clark (W. Newbury, MA/Pentucket Regional HS) and Freshman Allyson Bellemore (Manchester, NH/Manchester West) also tallied goals to put the finishing touches on the game.
Freshman Kellie Lajoie recorded two assists while D'Amario and Collin each picked up an assist. Senior Staci Wiencko and Junior Margreta Weber added the other two assists to help the Gulls improve to 5-0 in conference play. Senior goaltender Tina Loguidice earned her fourth shutout win.
The Gulls (9-1) return to action at home on Saturday with a noon kickoff against Anna Maria. (5-4-0).
