With the win, Babson improved to 11-2 overall as the Beavers were led by five goals from junior Jameson Spang (Kennebunk, Maine) and four goals from junior Taylor Kralovenec (Cos Cob, Conn.).  Goalie Julie Baharestani (Syosset, N.Y.) made seven saves between the pipes including one in the final minute of the game as Endicott attempted to tie the game.

Gulls sophomore midfielder Callie Murphy (Woburn, Mass.) scored four of her team-high five goals in the second half as she led the Endicott comeback.  Loizzo turned in an impressive Senior Day performance, scoring four goals on four shot attempts.  DeShaw along with junior Lauren Todd (Newfields, N.H.) each had three assists in the loss.

At the start of the second half, Babson continued their impressive play as Rachel Secrist (Westford, Mass.) and Trisha Babson (Duxbury, Mass.) scored back-to-back to put the Beavers on top 12-3.

Goals by Loizzo, Kelley Tierney (South Hadley, Mass.) and Murphy cut the deficit down to six with 24:56 remaining.  Another two goals by Babson stretched lead out to 14-6 but Endicott once again fought back with four more goals, including three on free position attempts, to make it 14-10.

Kralovenec scored her final goal of the game, but Murphy exploded for three tallies in-a-row followed by Holly Davis’ (Guildford, Conn.) only goal of the game to make it a one-goal game at 15-14 Babson.

In the final minute, Endicott forced a turnover and raced down the field looking to tie it up but DeShaw’s shot with 53 seconds remaining was saved by Baharestani.  Endicott caused another turnover with 21 seconds left but the Gulls would not be able to attempt another shot on goal.

Babson held an 18-13 advantage on draw controls as Trisha Babson had nine by herself.  Endicott’s Rachel Campos (Shrewsbury, Mass.) tied Neff with a team-high four draw controls.  Campos also had two caused turnover.
