SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – After a week in which she amassed twelve points over two games, Endicott attack Morgan DeShaw (Danville, N.H.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women’s lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week.

The awards were announced on Tuesday by the conference office and Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye.

Helping Endicott to a 1-1 week, DeShaw scored six goals and registered six assists for the Gulls. Along the way she grabbed a ground ball and won a draw control as she and the Gulls improved to 8-4 overall.

In one of her best performances of the season, DeShaw exploded for five goals and four assists in the Gull’s 18-8 victory over CCC foe Roger Williams on Saturday afternoon.

Earlier in the week, she netted a goal and dished out two assists as Endicott fell 18-12 to nationally ranked powerhouse Bowdoin.

DeShaw leads Endicott with 58 points on the season. The senior is tops on the team with 38 goals and also leads the squad with 20 assists.

DeShaw becomes the third Gull this season to earn a women’s lacrosse award from the CCC. She joins sophomore Callie Murphy (Woburn, Mass.) and junior Holly Davis (Guilford, Conn.), who were each honored during the week of April 2nd.

Endicott women’s lacrosse will be in action twice this week for the final two home games of the season. This afternoon the Gulls will put their 5-0 CCC record on the line when they host the University of New England at 4:00 pm. Thursday Endicott will celebrate DeShaw and the rest of their senior class with a 4:00 pm non-conference game against Babson College.

Those games will both feature live stats and free live video, with all the links found on ECGulls.com.
